ETC-1-AL-DLW thermometer
ETC-1-AL-DLW is an electronic digital thermometer with a large, easy to read LED display used to control and measure temperature in buildings. Communication between the thermometer and TEMP-201 sensors is digital and bidirectional what enables continuous control of its operation correctness. The ETC-1-AL-DLW thermometer activates alarms in case of exceeded limit values of temperature (temperature too low/too high) and in case of detecting any irregularities in the thermometer’s operation that might cause its incorrect operation. In order to activate an alarm a relay alarm output with three brought out contacts is used: normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and common (C). A relay coil is not supplied at alarm condition and, as a result, it enables to generate an alarm in case of thermometer’s power supply failure.
An alarm is activated in the following situations:
- exceeding the set limit values of temperature (temperature too low/too high),
- detection of temperature measurement line damage,
- halting the process of temperature monitoring,
- detection of irregularities in thermometer’s operation (e.g. an internal memory failure),
- a failure in the thermometer’s power supply.
Characteristics:
- temperature measurement is made by means of digital sensors; the possibility of connection of up to 4 TEMP-201 sensors, one sensor is included in the set,
- the possibility of control of average temperature value or min/max value from each of temperature sensors,
- an option of automatic switch off of alarm signalling after disappearing of its reason.
The device is designed for mains 230V, 50Hz or with 12 V DC (e.g. from alarm installation in the building). It is possible to connect it to both voltage sources at the same time.
