ETC-3-AL is an electronic device used to measure water pressure in the system of watering and alarming when pressure is too high or too low.

The measurement of water pressure is performed by means of a sensor with a 4..20mA or  0..10V output (depending on the version of a device) connected to the controller. The sensor with a 4..20mA signal is delivered with the controller. The pressure sensor is mounted by screwing (thread G ¼”) and it can replace mechanical manometers. The controller is equipped with an easy to read 3 digit display which displays pressure and settings.

Water pressure is measured in the range of 0 to 10 bar, resolution of measurement and settings of alarm thresholds: 0,1 bar.

The ETC-3-AL controller operates some incorrect situations that may happen. In order to indicate them it is equipped with an alarm relay output. There are brought out three contacts of of a relay: normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and common (COM). The alarm state is a rest position of a relay what enables to generate an alarm in case of power supply failure. The alarm is also activated in the following situations:

• detection of water pressure measurement line damage,

• exceeding the set limit values of water pressure,

• halting the process of monitoring of water pressure,

• detection of irregularities in operation (e.g. an internal memory failure, keypad damage).
