TEMP-485 Sensor
The TEMP-485 sensor is a device used to measure temperature. It is equipped with a modern, pre-calibrated digital sensor. The sensor is suitable for digital communication via RS-485 with VIRGO software version A-09. TEMP 485 can select sensor number 1 to 16, thereby allowing the attachment to the controller VIRGO up to 16 pieces of sensor for temperature measurement. On special request, it is possible to prepare the sensor TEMP-485 cooperating with the CA-GSM-1 as the fifth temperature sensor instead of RHT-01-GN.
The sensor is supplied with 8..12V DC from a cooperating device. It is required that the power supply and transmission lines to the sensor were supplied with the same cable (a four-wire cable, e.g. shielded twisted-pair)
In order to increase the sensor’s reliability its housing was equipped with a snap-in bracket that enables fast mounting of the sensor (to the connecting cable) in the right position, i.e. cable fitting downwards.
The method of fastening enlarges protection of the sensor against moisture that might get inside the sensor and flow down the cable through the cable fitting.
The performed tests have shown that this solution improves safety of the sensor as for getting moistened and it provides its long failure-free operation.
