The TERMATSTAT controller is used to control the power of electric heating mats in pigsty. The control ("on-off") is based on a curve that determines the power (in %) given by the mat as a function of the age of the piglets. You have the ability to insert 5 curves into different times of the year. Each curve may contain up to 10 points for which they are entered:

• age of piglets (for point 1 the age is uneditable and equal to 0),

• mat power control - between the points of the power curve is calculated linearly and after reaching the last point of the curve the power resulting from this point is maintained,

• the internal temperature of the room after which the heating mat will automatically switch off. This temperature for particular piglet age periods is constant and it is possible to disable this function for these periods.

The TERMATSTAT has the function of adjusting the power resulting from the curve depending on the outside temperature (the necessary outdoor temperature sensor). This function can be disabled. Heating mats are controlled by a relay output.

For temperature measurement you can optionally purchase a digital temperature sensor TEMP-201 - the controller enables cooperation with four temperature sensors. They can work in one of two configurations: all attached temperature sensors are internal temperature sensors or one of them is an outdoor temperature sensor and the other is internal. With the addition of more internal temperature sensors, the mat power control algorithm takes into account in the calculations, according to the settings ("Temperature sensor adjusts"), the mean of their indications as the internal temperature of the object.

The controller has got one relay alarm output and it indicates alarms e.g. when the set temperature thresholds are exceeded (temperature is too low or too high), in case of power supply failure, temperature measurement line damage etc.
